MY ROOM TOUR

NB: Ignore the reading part if you are not interested and just leap to those photos of my room!

Did you have an experience living in the dorm or sharing a room with somebody else? Have you experienced sharing a room with someone who has disgusting habits, who act just like a kid, who you can't control, who has a pair of normal ears but pretends to be deaf and spends more than 2 hours watching/chatting without her/his headphone on???

I never lived with those kind of human being ever since I came to Korea to study. BUT, it is just stopped on the first half of the year 2013. From that time, after I moved from a dorm I used lived in the undergrad school to the new dorm, and I started to get more and more and more frustrated and stressed out by living with a person who totally has a set of those attitude I described above.

Honestly, I am not a kind of person who get mad easily, but there is only one point. If you keep pushing me until some point, then you might feel me. And, yes!!! The girl I lived with got those tasted of my words I said. (Sorry that I am not sorry and never ever feel SORRY).

Anyway, Thanks GOD! Finally I moved out from the dorm last week. I mean I did better choice to stay away from that evil. So, after moving out I did not have enough time to put every things in their places since I was busier for the whole week do my work in the LAB. And, I just got my room organized.

KOREAN THANKSGIVING DAY - CHUSEOK

Another long holiday straight from Monday to Wednesday, which means 6 days (weekend + Thanksgiving day)  for me to skip from the daily work. Yesterday was the first day of Thanksgiving day, and today was the main day of 'Chuseok' Thanksgiving day. Since the area I live became empty, my BF and I decided to do a bit sightseeing in crowded place like Gwanghwamun, Seoul City Hall, Myeondong, or such.

I don't remember since when I feel happy as today whenever revisiting the same places (in many times for example). But I enjoyed todays activities though. Like seriously

Regardless, after the whole day roaming around my BF and I went back home at 9PM. And, when I got to my room I turned on my MacBook and started transferring all of todays' photos from my NIKON Digital Camera. While having ice cream, I went through every single photo. And what I found was that almost of them are spontaneous photos of me (I was surprised a bit anyway). It is hard for me to post any of my photos taken spontaneously, I mean I rarely have anybody taking at least a photo of me spontaneously. Hm~ there's something good happened to him I guess. And, this definitely be the reason why suddenly he did really good job in taking picture of me without me knowing in advance. By the way, I like all of the photos I saw to be honest. They turned out so good. Full Credit to my BF ^^

I guess this photo was taking when we got out from the subways' station.
And I still cannot believe my hair is getting so long.
Perhaps I need to get my hair cut in order to save time taking care of it and money for shampoo.

I still remember that moment.
I was so freaky hungry because just had burger for lunch since all of the restaurants were closed.

I have no idea what did I try to find in my backpack ?!

Because I am one of the coffee drinkers, at least I need to have a cup of Americano a day.
While we were walking inside the basement level of the Gwanghwamun square, I found this coffeeshop.
What prompted me to taste coffee here was this sentence
"CAFE TIMOR"
which was written all over the coffee shop wall.

I believe that I was curious and excited of trying out CAFE TIMOR.
The taste was not bad, but couldn't find the real taste of coffee that I tried a year ago at East Timor.

This was on the second floor of the
"National Museum of Korean Contemporary History"

How to Make a Simple Wall Calendar (DIY)

I have been thinking to share how I do a DIY wall calendar, but I never get a chance to do it due to my busy schedule. Since I got my day off for three days because of the Korean Thanksgiving day, I decided to post it. Hopefully this could inspire everybody out there.

So, this is how I do my DIY wall calendar. I believe that there are so many diverse of DIY calendars out there on the Internet. However, I want to share mine which I think it is so simple and doesn't require you to replace it monthly. What you need to do is changing the sticky note only.

Sneak peak of my DIY wall calendar

First of, you want to make table using Pages (if you run OSX) or either MS Word/MS Excel. It should be 5 x 5 table since you only count the weekdays. The important thing is fixing the row and column size as the sticky note size (3.8 x 5.08 cm). After that print it out and post on your wall or any place near your desk.

Secondly, what you need is 1 1/2 x 2 inch sticky note (any color you like).

And yeah, just write down whatever your schedule is on the little sticky note and stick it on the table based on the day. That's it. It is super easy and simple, isn't it?
