STARBUCKS PLANNER 2016 KOREA

Yes, today I finally completed my 17 e-frequency and got this planner for free. So, let me explain quickly about e-frequency if you don't know what it is. E-frequency basically is kinda like sticker for promotion where you have it on your Starbucks app. You need to complete 17 of them by buying drinks excluding soft-drink in the store. Among the drinks you get, 3 of them should be Christmas drinks. After completing it, you can choose any of the planners they provided. That's it. Easy right?

As I already have red planner this year, I decided to get this one which I think is classy. Oh yes, all black for 2016. (Just want to match a black tumbler that I got for my birthday by the way).

Starbucks Planner 2015 Black, South Korea

The design inside the 2016 Starbucks Planner looks quite different from the 2015 planner. Where there is no more stamp journey mission that needs you to travel around Korea to the destination that for getting the stamps. Now, what you need to do is just go to any Starbucks store nearby each month with someone or bunch of people depends on the mission.

By seeing this, I think you already know. The first theme starts by saying Merry Christmas. It has the calendar after each theme of each month and before the theme you will see a sheet for reviewing & sharing.

January theme.
"Happy Healthy New Year"

February theme.
"Yes LOVE's day"

March theme.
"My Brand-new DAYS"

April theme.
"GREEN"

May theme.
"Enjoy Together"

June theme.
"Very nice to meet you"

July theme.
"Let's celebrate"

August theme.
"VACATION, DRIVING, FIZZIO. That's all we need"

September theme.
"Good things happen when we get together"

October theme.
"One for you, One for me, one for our memory"

November theme.
"Everything will be alright"

December theme.
"The Perfect way to TREAT YOURSELF"

So, here are the picture showing you the mission. I gotta tell that since I have no kids yet, am not living with my parents, and I have no friend whose birthday on June, so I won't use the mission sticker of the first month of the year 2016, May, June.

Starbucks Planner 2015

Starbucks really knows how to increase their sales in Christmas season. Specially here in South Korea, where the young people loves coffee, they obviously targeting those young crowd. So since I am one of those coffee drinker, I have finally completed the 17 stickers in 3 weeks (probably), and I got a Starbucks planner after consuming 17 cups of coffee (14 core beverages + 3 Christmas beverages) as they required. I believe that the feature of the planner provided in South Korea will be look different in other countries. Here are the photos of what it looks like inside the planner.

So, here is the one I got. Basically the planner comes with three different colors (red, green and black) and two different sizes. I prefer black color, but I have no choice since the shop I went only has the red one.

Lets take a look some details on the inside. It starts with personal information as you can tell from the picture below.

Just like normal diary and planner out there that Korea usually has, the planner has month calendar view with some space where you can leave some reminders, notes, or whatever you please.

It also comes in different themes where it covers pictures of the popular view in South Korea to start the month. Let the pictures do the talking because we all know that pictures always talk louder than words do.

How to Decorate Your Personal Diary 2

Another overview of my diary. I am sorry that I cannot show the whole things here because it is so personal. But, I found the first month of the year seems so common so I decided to capture it and share. By the way, let me tell you something. Writing diary is one of the best way to capture your memories, feelings, and moments. It does things different from what photos do. I mean you don't always take photo every single day (maybe you do selfie), but when you get older you might forget what happen every single day although photo can help you. Trust me, when you start to make your own personal diary, you might feel that life is really really beautiful and important. After a year, when you open back your diary, you will still feel the same as what you felt during those moments you have been through. The things you have done, the food you have eating, the people you have met, the life you have experience. EVERYTHING! Everything, that you went through and learnt during the year.

How to Make a Simple Wall Calendar (DIY)

I have been thinking to share how I do a DIY wall calendar, but I never get a chance to do it due to my busy schedule. Since I got my day off for three days because of the Korean Thanksgiving day, I decided to post it. Hopefully this could inspire everybody out there.

So, this is how I do my DIY wall calendar. I believe that there are so many diverse of DIY calendars out there on the Internet. However, I want to share mine which I think it is so simple and doesn't require you to replace it monthly. What you need to do is changing the sticky note only.

Sneak peak of my DIY wall calendar

First of, you want to make table using Pages (if you run OSX) or either MS Word/MS Excel. It should be 5 x 5 table since you only count the weekdays. The important thing is fixing the row and column size as the sticky note size (3.8 x 5.08 cm). After that print it out and post on your wall or any place near your desk.

Secondly, what you need is 1 1/2 x 2 inch sticky note (any color you like).

And yeah, just write down whatever your schedule is on the little sticky note and stick it on the table based on the day. That's it. It is super easy and simple, isn't it?

How to Decorate Your Personal Diary

There are some people who love writing diary where they pretty much record their daily events or dreams or anything about their emotions that they can talk honestly. I am one of those. I love writing things that happen to me every single day. It is fun and I enjoy it. I started writing story of life that I have been through on my diary since I was in 6th grade of elementary school. The main reason of doing this is because I feel so released after recording my feelings (positive or negative). Especially now when I am in Korea where I got so much stress because of the lifestyle here. Yet, here in Korea, everyone is busy with their own lives, so diary is the only best friend I have. Through writing diary, I found myself feel better and I can regulate my emotions after writing down everything I felt a day. Btw, I must tell you that, Korean's diaries and planners are so pretty and cute, as well as the stickers. I found it fun to play around with them. These are some examples of how I decorate my diary. I hope you guys enjoy seeing it.

Most Korean diaries have a month view and a week view. The monthly section illustrates the main point I want to remember about that day, and the weekly part goes into more depth.
